Description: South Penarth House BandB is a charming and stylish Grade II listed house with heated outdoor swimming pool and lovely gardens for guests to use. The house is very tranquil and quiet, yet is within walking distance of the cobbled streets of Truro and less than a mile from the quaint, village of St.Clements with its charming river walks. This beautiful house offers a host of period features and spacious, light filled accommodation. All the lovely rooms come equipped with modern bathrooms, large digital TV's, tea, coffee facilities with fresh milk, chocolate treats, fruit bowl and fresh flowers. There is free broadband for lap tops and efficient mobile phone signal. A freshly cooked full English breakfast with homemade bread and marmalade is served in the sun filled panelled breakfast room. An Ideal, comfortable base for either business or pleasure. Free parking.Your hosts offer an informal and friendly service and are happy to offer advice about this beautiful area whether you are here for business or pleasure. Truro is a 12 minute walk away (downhill - you may need to take a £3 cab ride home uphill) and the beautiful river walks at St. Clements are a 3 minute drive away.The house is very tranquil and quiet despite being so conveniently placed and has lovely gardens where guests can relax on nice evenings and enjoy a swim in the outdoor heated pool. The house is an ideal base for a romantic break and to explore the beautiful County of Cornwall as Truro is so central to everywhere in Cornwall. Truro is also host to numerous restaurants and has a lot of bijoux shops to explore. There is also a fine theatre in the centre of town and some fine art galleries.For business purposes, the house is conveniently placed for access to Truro; Truro Courts, Truro Council and also the hospital.The small village of St. Clement's is less than a mile away with its stunning river walks. It is renowned for birds and wildlife and there are numerous country and river walks that emanate directly from the village itself.We look forward to welcoming you South Penarth.
Directions: Travelling west on the A30 to Cornwall, follow signs to Truro and the A38. When you arrive in Truro you will come to a big roundabout called Trafalgar roundabout. (roundabout landmarks are shell garage, police station) take first left up St. Clement's Hill. Travel 13 mile to the brow of the hill and turn right down a tiny unnamed country road, signposted to St. Clements. There is a sign to St. Clements 15th Century church. As soon turn down this road, you will see a high old Cornish wall on your right hand side. At the end of the wall, turn right into the drive. You will see two drives, keep right and you will see the house in front of you.
